Z51 Coilover shocks
Sitting here wondering if the height adjustable Z51 coilover will fit a base C8. Can't see a reason they wouldn't. Thoughts ? ........... Problem solved .... I'm going to add the Z51 w/FE4
Almost guarantee the Z51 coilovers will fit the base model. Also, they will not lower it as much as in that picture you posted. Probably an additional inch of gap all around.
