Default CPR installed Fabspeed test pipe with dyno video

Here is the latest video with us tearing down the C8 and going through all the little area's on the car to find out what we see. Yes we are goofballs at times but we just love what we do and enjoy finding new stuff. At the end is the dyno portion with sound clips so if that's all you care about feel free to skip ahead.

Sounds great! Looking at the air fuel on the dyno sheet i can see that the test pipes leaned out the ratio substantially from 11.5 to a perfect 13 to 1. Will the ecu bring back the air fuel ratio to 11.5 to one over a period of time? If you tune the stock car to the same leaner 13/1 and add test pipes and correct the tune; what kind of gain are we looking at?

Sadly we cant tune them yet. We will revisit the dyno and see if afr changed after awhile to know if pcm auto corrected.

So did these throw a check engine light? Has the car been driven much since they have been installed?

Some Kooks headers and a cat delete with an exhaust would be 🔥

Not much info on test pipes out there. Did the afr normalize afterwards? If so, does hp drop back down?

Awesome, and are these afr changes anything to worry about? I came from an Evo where afrs are everything, but it seems like these v8s are a bit more flexible in that regard.

Ill probably install an O2 spacer to get rid of the Check Engine Light. And will hope that the smell isn’t too bad...

Thanks for the feedback

Only true test is after a the trims get readjusted with a hour or two of driving. Please recheck after road test. If results repeat, great. Looking forward to the rest of the story.

I believe they commented on youtube that they tweaked that off-camera.
