Default NPP exhaust question

Question:
What if the exhaust valves (plastic actuator) at the exhaust tips were removed (unbolted), but kept plugged into the electronic system.
Manually turn the butterfly valve to the open position (will it stay open?).
Zip tie the removed valve (plastic actuator) to the body/frame (still plugged into the electronic system).
Result: wide open exhaust 100% of the time.
Will this work?

The AFM valves are the ones that need to be kept open without throwing a code. What you propose might work since the valves are spring loaded to open. The problem is the actuators may not be able to be remotely mounted due to space considerations.

You can set track mode exhaust in mymode. Always open.

If the AFM valves are always open, what happens when the car requests V4 mode?
I understand that V4 mode is disabled in MANUAL MODE and TRACK MODE.
I noticed that aftermarket exhaust systems (Cat Back) have eliminated the AFM valve from the pipes. Not sure what they are doing with the AFM Actuator. I assume it is mounted remotely to fool the system?

FabSpeed C8 Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust System, step 14:
Remove the AFM and NPP valve motors from the OEM exhaust and cable tie them up and out of the way. Take care to ensure the actuator arms have obstruction free movement. The ECU will still command them to operate as if they were installed on the OEM exhaust system.
