Hi, I have this "Service Keyless Start System" moments after taking delivery. Tried replacing the key fob battery but still shows up. I can double-press to remote start, I can unlock with buttons on key fobs, but proximity key/keyless door-trunk-frunk opening does not work - I can't unlock by just tapping the door button. Is this a bad 12V battery, or bad keyless antenna, or maybe a loose antenna connector somewhere in the car I can try to look at?
Other forum, guy had same problem . he said his car battery was very low.. Charged it and his problem went away. just sayin.
It was me - I thought charging the battery would help. I took it out for a 60-mile drive hoping that it would charge the battery up. Still the same message on DIC.
If the antenna is on the airbox and they have to take it out, maybe the dealer can just fill the DCT fluid for just the fluid cost?

My 2014 Z51 had a low battery voltage from when it was new. Tried my large battery charger and after the surface charge was depleted it was back about 0.5 volts low. In fact, even bought the equivalent of the GM charger to see if that would help and it did not. Had a weak cell and changed to an AMG battery in 2 1/2 years when the voltage was even lower!
I learned with my Street Rod even with it's high output alternator that 50 mile drives every week was not enough to keep the battery charged. Now have a Yellow Optima and it's on a low output battery maintainer 24/7 when not driven to car shows.
Considering that whoever is delivering the batteries to Bowling Green may have had them stored in a warehouse for some time based on the much slower build schedule than planned, when I get mine (TPS 8/17) I'll connect my GM charger equivalent. I seldom use it as all my 6 Vettes have been DD's but being retired for 20 years don't travel very far. 50 mile round trips to town are most miles. But do that often each week.

Thanks! I'm going to try a trickle charger one more time, but living in a condo with no nearby AC outlet in garage is not easy.
