Default 1LT vs. 2LT Bose audio

Hey Guys,
Is there a huge difference in sound between each Bose system? Will the bass in the 1LT be equivalent to the 2LT? I know it has less speakers.

Is there ANY room where you can install a sub? Maybe in this case the frunk? Or trunk if you didn’t mind losing the roof storage.

There was a comment where a forum member said the 2/3LT has more base. I don't know BUT can tell you the added subwoofer in my 2LT Grand Sport made a significant difference in the C7 compared to my 3LT C6 that had no extra subwoofer! Having installed better sound systems in a number of cars and even a subwoofer and amp in my S10, was thankful for the C7 except some of the >1000 songs I had playing in a shuffle mode as soon as my 2017 Grand Sport started (to drown out tire and road noise) were too boomy! In my S10 the amp had a remote I mounted on the center console where I could adjust bass volume.

Thankful to a poster showed that could be adjusted for the songs that were boomy with a simple push of a button! Harder to do than he showed so made a "How To" with pics and text of the procedure. That was a big help so I didn't have to lower the volume of 10 to 15% of my songs that defected my purposed of drowning out tire/road noise! Here is a PDF on how it is done, sure hope I can do the same with my C8 when it arrives: http://netwelding.com/Boomy_Bass.pdf If anyone uses, please let me know!

Was able to mount a subwoofer in my non extended cab S10 with a properly sized enclosure and amp bolted to the rear! It had a remote volume control I mounted on the center console.

I can tell you that we have the 2LT and I think it very underwhelming.

A car doesnt need 27 speakers or however many the 2LT and 3LT have. A car needs properly powered speakers in the correct spots. A good set of component speakers and a sub properly powered will out perform the 39 speakers in the 2LT.

The 3LT Bose system is excellent.

I have the 1LT and I am blown away by the sound quality (lol no pun intended)

The way that the 2LT Premium Bose system was talked about made me very worried that the base system was going to suck.

I am extremely happy with it and wouldn't change a thing. For reference I'm coming out of a Dodge Challenger with the 900watt 18 Speaker Harmon Kardon system.

There’s only one way to improve the sound of any Bose stereo, shut it off!

Can only speak to my 2 C7's BUT don't care if you install a high end Lexicon sound system Rolls Royce uses; the tire and road noise is so significant it would make little difference. I use a lot of Bass to drown out as much as possible! We'll see when I get my C8 but bet I have my sound playing over 1000 songs in shuffle mode I have on a thumb drive when I start the car!
