Default Green ring inside tachometer

What is the green ring that illuminates inside the tachometer while in 1st gear? It seems to light up around 2500 rpm or so. I haven't seen it in other gears. Could it be a shift indicator?

Yes, the green ring is the start of sequential shift lights.

Bring the rpm's up and more rings will light up, yellow and then red...

Have Fun

Great. I'm still in the break-in mode, so haven't had the rev's up very high. Thanks for the explanation.

Yep... after break-in... test it out... the lights come up in every gear change if you push it hard enough,, maybe not in 7th or 8th, but of the others you will see it.

Yeah...I’m a little confused by the shift indicator lights. It seems as though you have to redline the car before any shift indicator circles come up...does that sound correct? I feel like I’ve really revel the RPM’s and not seen the circles display at all...anyone else? Also, are you supposed to shift right at the point of the green circle illuminating?

Thoughts would be appreciated!
