Hard to tell if there was/ is a performance change when technically you weren’t in the power band below 3500 rpms. And I’m going to assume the yellow at 5500 isn’t going to change, just there to tell you get ready to shift.
Did you notice any performance changes? I didn't. Also, does the yellow on the tach stay at 5500 rpm all the time now?
Re the Yellow band. Like the C7 when the engine is cold it will start lower. Been as low as 4000 start for me but doesn't get that cold in Eastern SC! It then raises as engine warms, When engine is warm the start of the light yellow is at 5500, then darker yellow at 6000 then red.
If you broke it in per the recommendation you'd not feet any power difference as never got close to max torque!
If you want to "feel" a more aggressive car try setting Z MODE Power to Track. You can set Ride at Touring if you'd like. So unlike when driving in Track don't have that stiff ride (assuming you have MRC.) You don't get more power it just changes the way it's applied.
It will seldom be out of 5th gear for example, unlerss over 65 mph then only 6th.
It won't go into V4.
It shifts out of lower gears at higher rpm.
Worth a try. That is where I mostly drive! Can still use shift paddles to increase a gear or for a fast turn shift to a lower gear sooner. However with Power in Track it will automatically shift to lower gears at higher rpms!
