Federal legislation trumps the dealer...if the warranty work is not directly attributable to the after market part the warranty stands.

The legislation trumps the dealer, but GM/FORD/et al have way more lawyers on retainer than probably you have. You get your car's warranty work completed, but how much are the lawyer's gonna cost to get there?

If a car with aftermarket long tube headers needed warranty work on something like a transmission replacement, I could understand the dealer's reluctance to work on the vehicle if removing the headers was required to access the transmission vs simply dropping the exhaust at the exhaust manifolds. But a blanket warranty denial would be wrong in my opinion.

I watched this upload a few times and if I did cats, it would be for how it sounds. Cats added to NPP keeps the factory sound ... just amplified to another level...

Anyone here installed aftermarket cats? Please share your experience. What I am interested is, in Tour mode is it too obnoxious. In Track mode, I would want it loud. I have the High Wing Spoiler and the rear bumper has to come off for that install, was thinking it could save on labor if I did cats at the same time.

Check out my two video of a sound test with stock vs cats and then cats vs headers and cats.

Good to hear a competitor’s theory/opinion, however, unless the data sheets from various pulls are simply fabricated, the data from ARH stands until someone proves otherwise. Opinions are always interesting, but not always rooted in fact/data.

Cheers!
