Default Performance Parts

Here are some performance parts:

AFM hardware delete
https://store.katechengines.com/gen-...over-p440.aspx

https://shop.katechengines.com/produ...-valley-cover/

AFM electronic disabler
_ as possibly needed
https://www.rangetechnology.com/prod...-dfm_disabler/

Mass-Air-Flow sensor tuner
_as possibly enough tuning for exhausts
https://www.urdusa.com/urd-maf-sensor-calibrator/

https://www.jmschip.com/jms-products/mass-air-modifier/ (Products for GM cars that might adapt)

Springs 30% stiffer with total lowering of 1/2" recommended by this post
_but for lowering of 1" or more then look for Bilstein or Penske coilovers with double the OEM spring rates and with smaller bump stops
https://www.paragonperf.com/paragon-...hypercoil.html

Well, springs 30% stiffer would be about right for 1/2" lowering. Springs 30% stiffer would not be correct for 1.75" lowering. A car like that could bottom-out when hard in a curve and crash. See, lowering a car with less spring pre-load translates the use of the spring to a lower force range of the spring. Or coilovers can be found with a lowering range of 0.8" to 1.6". But if the springs are correct for 0.8" lowering then they are too soft for lowering of 1.6". Or if the springs are correct for lowering of 1.6" then they are too stiff for lowering of 0.8". Spring pre-load is really intended as find tuning. Now go shopping for different-rate standard-diameter coilover springs to put on the coilovers but don't compare to the OEM rates of 226/263 because those are rates at the wheel and not the actual spring rates. The KW coilovers obviously use standard-diameter coilover springs but the OEM coilovers don't. Or here's an example of a Penske set with custom fabrication for mounting: https://mtiracing.com/products/mti-r...ette-coilovers

I would guess the springs rates as 30% stiffer needed for 1/2" lowering, 100% stiffer needed for 1" lowering, and 150% stiffer needed for 1.5" lowering. But a stiffer suspension is not just to work against bottoming. A stiffer suspension is faster responding and could reach the point of being too fast responding for the driver.

Swaybars
_with H&R swaybars not yet available

Suspension bushings:

But I'm just looking for the delrin.

18 x 9 50mm front wheel for the 255/40-18 tire size
_with wheel clearance over suspension arms and brakes not yet confirmed
https://enkei.com/shop/wheels/racingrevolution/gtc01rr/

19 x 9 48mm front wheel for the 255/35-19 tire size
https://www.bbs-usa.com/road_wheels/....cfm?wheel=106

Preferred wheel and tire setups:

265/35-19 front tire on a 19 x 9.5 50mm to 52mm wheel with a preferred tire found in the Pilot Sport Cup 2
325/30-20 rear tire on a 20 x 11.5 62mm wheel with a preferred tire found in the Pilot Sport Cup 2
Well it appears that with 3/4" lowering then 5mm more outward wheel offset can be used.

275/35-18 front tire on a 18 x 9.5 55mm wheel with inside clearance not yet confirmed but with a preferred tire found in the Eagle F1 Supercar 3
325/30-19 rear tire on a 19 x 11.5 62mm wheel with a preferred tire found in the Eagle F1 Supercar 3
Or all-season tires can be found
Well it appears that with 3/4" lowering then 5mm more outward wheel offset can be used.

Or the "put something on quick" wheel and tire setup:

255/35-19 front tire on a BBS CI-R 19 x 9 48mm wheel with a preferred tire found in the Pilot Sport Cup 2
315/30-20 rear tire on the OEM rear wheel with a 5mm spacer and with a preferred tire found in the Pilot Sport Cup 2 but with the tire actually branded for _another car
Note that the tires are on the recommended wheel widths

But check wheel and tire fitments on each setup with an application that considers actual tire dimensions:

http://www.kbhscape.com/wheel.htm

Well, lower the car first, adjust camber second, and then measure for wheel and tire fitment. Input wheel widths to measure for wheel clearance over suspension arms but input actual tire section-width specifications to measure for inner and outer tire clearance
.

You can already disable AFM by putting it in track mode or programming powertrain to track mode for your Z mode. Problem solved.

I haven’t noticed any issues with AFM. I only know whether it is active by looking at the indicator. I never feel cylinders being deactivated. I saw an interview with Tadge where he explained how they improved the AFM on the C8 over the C7.
