Default Active Fuel Management Electronic PNP Simulators Available Now!!!

The AFM or Active Fuel Management system on the new C8 Corvette is a great feature for all of us that love causing down the road getting good fuel milage on our 500hp car. However for those of us who want the addition of some extra music coming out of the tail pipes we may face a problem with the AFM valve systems in association with aftermarket exhaust systems. While some exhaust systems come with metal simulators they not only can be somewhat difficult to install but we have also found some of them don’t even remove the check engine light on all cars.

The electronic system on the new C8 as many of you I’m sure can imagine is extremely advanced and looks for things that some of the older models don’t, but we set out testing to find a solution for a direct plug and play, no questions asked solution to make your C8 happy even when installing aftermarket exhausts and or even turbo systems!

With our PNP Active Fuel Management Valve Simulator you can 100% remove your factory valves and simply plug our all in one simulator to remove any possibility of a check engine light or control fault whatsoever. There is no software needed, you do not need to plug anything into your ODBII port nor do you need to bolt your actuators to something to trick them!!! Just plug in our Cicio Performance AFM Simulator and away you go!

These little magic boxes are in stock ready t0 ship!!!

Price: $99.95

It does not, it simply keeps it from throwing a check engine light when it does.

That would be an internal ECU thing for sure and something that no one is even close to getting to unfortunately.

The unit accepts the plugs for both AFM valves. Very easy access when doing any exhaust install. It literally is a 30 second install.

What about the Z51 valves at the exit ends? Can those be removed with out throwing a code? Or do we need another one of your "trick sticks" for those too?
Thanks!

We are actually doing testing on this this week! Great question. The 2020 C8 will not throw a code when removing those valves. However the 21 will! The 21 they changed it to require a feedback signal to the ECU. We are currently doing final testing on that product and will let you know asap

Hi, do you only need one of these units? or multiple? I haven't pulled my exhaust off yet but plan to soon. Factory NPP setup currently. Thank you!

You only need one, it has two plugs on it that you plug both leads going to the factory AFM valves into. The little magic box does the rest!

So if you plan on an exhaust, donot add a bimode exhaust is the best route? That was what I was planning.

The sound valve section (NPP) works just fine on the aftermarket exhausts we have installed. On the 2020 cars that valve does not have feedback to the ECU so it does not throw a light.

The 2021 however does.

I just received and plugged in the Cicio PNP Active Fuel Management Valve Simulator and they work as advertised. No codes! Now I can remove the factory servos all together. Great deal for only 100.00. Just wanted to say thank you to Cicio for coming out with this simple plug in and not raping us. Hope you have lots if inventory!

Can I use it on my vette that I installed Fabspeed valvetronic exhaust? I still have a CEL that I really don't want to see it on my dashboard.

I just installed these last week on my 2021. They plug into the harnesses to replace the valve motors. So if you're still using motors, then no they won't work for you.

Hello sir and good question!

Are you saying that you have an AFM CEL on your dash or one for the rear valves? What year is the car?

The answer to your question if you have an AFM error is YES! 100% you can plug these in and it will get rid of your check engine light. If it is from the "sound or NPP" valves and they are still active then that is a different problem.

Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions at all, we are happy to help.
