I have the stock NPP exhaust and installed these, you do get a bit louder idle. There must be a fair amount of back pressure on the “open” exhaust with the valves open as there is still a lot of exhaust coming out of the inner exhaust tips.

Hey Richard,

Your was shipped out Thursday which I emailed you about on Friday.

Im sorry this took longer than normal, these are made by hand by our tech and he has been knocking out big wholesale orders of these while trying to get out retail ones made as well.

Do you have several unanswered emails to me? I know there was the one from last week which I apologized about but Im not seeing anything else.

Thanks
Andrew

Default AFM Persistent Idiot Light

‘21 C8 Z51 with Stainless Works Redline exhaust with functioning NPP valves. Cicio AFM modules did nothing to remove the idiot light unfortunately. No real information as to how I should troubleshoot the issue on their site or in the shipment. No other mods on the car aside from the aforementioned catback. Any advice would be appreciated. Fair warning that this purchase may be a “pet rock” situation.

Louder in which setting. In another thread, someone disconnected the valves, and wired them to stay open. That person reported that the perceived sound was not louder than just cruising with the exhaust sound setting to track mode, which can be done in MyMode, Zmode, or default in Track mode. He also reported that it sounded terrible in V4 mode, which could be avoided if the engine trans setting is track. So, he decided not to go that route.
