Default Anyone cam a C8 yet?

Or is lack of tuning still holding us back from 500whp N/A. I think headers and a nice cam would be the perfect balance of power. Plus the lope would sound nice too

Might be a lot easier said than done. All the sensors, computer program set for factory cam. I'm not even sure you can cam it, without dropping the motor. Definitely void warranty. How much ya willing to spend?

Bolt-ons and ported heads can get to 500 rwhp. A couple of members here have done this.

But a cam with tuning would be nice.

I had a no tune required set of Comp Cams Stage 2 cams (more lift and LSA if I recall correctly, not sure on duration changes) on a 07 Mustang GT that used the stock springs so I would assume a cam could be made for the C8 motor that would offer some gains but not be so different from the stock cam to cause issues. The Mustang cams dyno'd about 27 rwhp/20 rwtq on a 4.6L 3 valve motor so I'd think with a 6.2L 2 valve motor you could probably do a little better though not sure how the heads flow between the engines.

Tadge, you listening?

How about a braced but removable panel to do front of engine work from the cabin…like cam swaps😵😵😵

I don’t think anyone is going to remove the engine for 500hp when bolt ons will get you there.
