0-60 Performance Timer does not start every time????
Think I am doing everything right each time but it doesn’t start each time
In track mode 2 pushes of trac control button puts me in Competitive Mode fine (non z51 with MCR HTC
On DIC set start speed and the stop speed press ok
Says Accelerate to start but every 2nd time it doesn’t start.
Does it have to see a neutral to drive shift? Any idea what is wrong?
Mine will start once out of many attempts. Dealer contacted GM tech support and was told many complaints. Also told they are looking at a software fix and will know next week. Incidentally my first shot it actually worked with a 2.9sec result. Was only in sport mode and wanted to try track mode but timer wouldn’t work. Track mode has full open exhaust, not sure if there are any further enhancements other than shift differences
my 0-60 timer works about 1 out of every 5 tries--sometimes I can't get it to work at all. I had an 2018 C7 before my C8--that one worked all the time--can't figure it out.
Still no luck the software update didn’t work. Field engineering worked all morning and nada. Sent in loaded software and will wait for GM. They may require new cluster install.
Came out from lunch, message on dash, update successful. Checked timer and memory for front lift all OK. Stopped by dealer and had a message saying contact tech support to confirm fix
Just contacted tech Support and there will be an upgrade in a couple weeks dealing with several issues. Apparently it will accomplished at the dealer via hardwire instead of off air
At Spring Mountain, the instructor would have you rotate the display to a different performance display with the right thumbwheel to kind of do a reset on the system. It worked every time there.
