Has anyone had these yet? I lowered my car on the stock z51 shocks but still needs some more drop. Was going to order the kw but looks like the drop is the same, says 1.0. Anyone have these installed with pics?
I guarantee you the the KW’s will give you whatever you want. It will put them on the the tires of you want. I usually don’t go to wild but I track my car so I have to leave some room for travel. Had to raise a couple times after they settled a few times as expected. Im only lowered maybe 1/2”. The KW’s are defiantly nice. Wide range of adjustability.

Yes the V3. I still have them setup how they came which is in the middle. Defiantly firmer over factory. Which for me is what I like and what it should be. But as with KW you can defiantly soften them up. Definitely has a more planted feel. Why more confident feeling. It allows the car to set quicker. Lot less roll. But I did add sway bars at the same time. I and some others will be testing very soon. My alignment helped a lot. Just 1.5 camber for now. Going in a couple weeks for a track alignment.
My biggest issue with the KW kit is the adjustability... Rebound Adjustment is on the top of the strut and compression is on the bottom. Just not easy, if you want to soften them up after a track day its back on your hands and knees to make the adjustments... Had rebound been on the bottom and compression on top it would be a lot more user friendly. Rebound is the one thing you wont be adjusting much at all once you have proper spring control.
Other than that, KW makes amazing stuff, i have run their kits on multiple cars and currently run their system on my BMW M2 comp.
If you want an extremely track focused setup I'd turn to MCS (Motion Control Suspension), much easier to tune than a set of Penskes (which the corvette world loves to run)... If you are just looking for height adjustability I think you will enjoy the KW's a lot.

I do agree with the slight physical hassle of the adjustment of compression. I’m by no means an expert and I usually find what I like after several track days between coilovers setup and sways and they usually stay there. This may sound like the wrong approach but I’d like for a well seasoned guy to test drive and setup as they like and adapt to their setup. It’s been several years since I last tracked and a total different car/ feel. Got a lot of catching up but it’s coming and I plan to stay. Hopefully I’ll get to a point where I’m over driving this car and need to step up to a better kit.
