Do you have a dust problem? I'm surprised, I thought the base pads didn't dust much. I don't know if you'll find pads that give off noticeably less dust and still maintain performance.

Its a dust storm back there an annoying as hell ...
I highly suggest the Powerstop pads I mentioned above. I put the Z26 set on my C7 and was very happy with them as a performance street pad with little to no dust and zero noise/squeal. The pad compounds are the exact same between the Z23 & Z26, the only difference is the shim (rubberized steel vs. stainless steel). I'll be replacing my factory C8 Brembo/Ferodo pads sometime in the near future with a set of Powerstops again.

Agree, like the C7 the C8 non Z51 is a non issue! here is what Tadge said in a forum post: Tadge Answered: Why All C8s Are Not Designed to Track- excerpt for brakes:
Let me start with the basics.... Corvette is a sports car. Why don't we just harden them all for the track to avoid this question? The truth is many customers use their Corvette for road driving only and we don't want to penalize those owners unnecessarily. Aside from cost and mass, making our car "track certified", has other trade-offs. We have had a lot of customer interest in more well-rounded rubber. We have had a great reception for our ultra-high performance all season tires. Nobody likes brake dust, but unfortunately the aggressive pads we must use for track durability and performance throw off some dust. That means cleaning your wheels more often. Also, our standard pads are compatible with rotors treated for reduced corrosion. The Z51 pads are not, so the rotors will have more tendency to show some cosmetic rust if the car is not driven.
First time in over a 1 year have heard about Base Car Dusty Brakes.
Yep, I have had my Carbotech 1521 low dust street pads for a year as well. Only wash the wheels when i wash the car. No significant dust. BUT the base car doesn't have the high performance Z51 brake pads that do produce quite bit of dust.

Is it your point the Base model does not have dust issues ?

Something's funny with your C8. Don't think switching to any low dust pad will make you happy! Suggest may be where you drove- NOT YOUR PADS OR YOU GOT SOME BAD ONES!

Fine! You obviously don't want to hear the truth. I have a many page PDF on changing Brake Pads folks have downloaded since 2014 when I changed the very dusty pads in my 2014 C7 Z51 to Carbotech 1521 pads. Did the same for my 2017 Grand Sport and as soon as I got my C8. Had those Carbotech 1521 Low Dust Street Pads purchased before my C8 arrived over a year ago! Work great with little dust.
Here is a PDF for those who want detailed install info on my 2015 Z51, 2017 Grand Sport and C8 Z51. C8 Z51 is 1st in this 35 page pics/detailed caption PDF: http://netwelding.com/Ceramic_Pads.pdf
At the end are Links to 54 other PDFs on mods/info re my C7 and C8 Vettes!
