Default Is this normal for KW Coilovers?

I ordered a set of new KW v3 coilovers for my C8, and received them today. The box when it arrived looked like it had been opened before, and the springs have a number of chips/scuffs on them. One spanner wrench appears to be missing as well…

not so concerned about scuffs since I’ll never see them, but more so paying for a new part and receiving something used. Does these pics seem acceptable?

1 spanner wrench is correct. No idea why considering the 2nd cutout but 1 is right.

IDK, I would have thought those had been in car for all the chips and scrapes on them, that doesn't look like shipping damage in some places.

I'd consider a little touch-up paint on the chips that appear to be down to bare metal.

If it was me I'd send them back. They're probably perfectly fine, but that looks like a lot more than some shipping scrapes. Should be in a "scratch 'n dent" sale, not sold as NIB.
