Hey all. This might sound like a dumb question but here it goes. For those that own an HTC is it me or does the sound system sound WAY better when the top is down vs. up? When my top is down, I notice much more of a warm, full, bass overall sound. As soon as I put the top up the sound system changes significantly in terms of the way it sounds. The only way I can describe it is big, warm and full when top is down and thin, trebly and timid when the top is up. I can actually hear the sound change when I put the top up. Is there a setting somewhere to manage this? I would prefer the sound not change at all - how it sounds with the top DOWN should be the same when the top is UP. Thanks in advance for any insights.
The system does change the sound with the top down. You can try turning AudioPilot on or off to see if it makes a difference but I don't think you can tweak the settings for top up vs top down. Or perhaps playing with digital enhancement settings.
It changes with top up or down as noted above, and in the owner's manual. But it doesn't say exactly what it changes. In any case you can also try to adjust the DSP modes. I believe in the actual menu it may say Sound Mode but I did not check. Here are available setting for that. (and below that I added the part about sound change when the top is lowered).
