Default Lower My C8 DFW

ISO reputable shop in the DFW that will lower my 2021 Z51 with front lift and no magnetic ride on the factory suspension.

They've worked on my C7 & C8 (in fact they just installed my Corsa sport cats yesterday), professional shop, courteous staff, always top-notch labor & dyno. Owned by John Lingenfelter's daughter (Lingenfelter sells both the lowering wrenches and lowering collars).

Keep in mind you can't go down much in the front with just the collars, it was still too high for me still so I then had Paragon lowering springs and shims installed which added a little height back to the full drop, so its between totally lowered and just the collars, perfect imo

I called 21st Century Muscle Cars for my car and they said $100 to install Lowering collars. That price is with me removing struts and dropping them off.
The struts are pretty easy to remove and i would have spent close to $100 for the tools to do the complete job myself.

You can also try the following

820 performance
5947 Rufe Snow Dr
Watauga, TX 76148
United States

In my opinion, with the collars drop alone doesn’t do much for me, I would suggest adding a set of lowering springs from paragon performance.
Trust me you’ll will love the results.

This is amazing - let me know what shim was used?? I have Paragon Lowering collars on my and the rear wrenched down to last thread but was nervous on adding springs due to how low it looks on cars but didn't realize they had shims. Does it more or less just balance the front to the same level as the rear?

Yes, that is exactly what they do. The Z51 w/ front lift cant be lowered turning it down so you must use the collars as you have but they only get you down about .75" and I still had over 2 fingers of wheel gap up front, see pic below. A bit too much for me but I didnt want the slammed look or tucked tire look as pic attached from their site. I have after market wheels and they come out to the edge of the fender but stock wheels can looked tucked as you can see below.

The Paragon springs give an additional 1" of drop and to me 1.75" was a tad too much so they sell a $10 shim to use w/ their collars that adds back .25" I believe so it got me right at 1.5" and one finger gap all around. Plus the springs are 30% stiffer than stock so it tightens the ride up to about perfect! So final pic is finished height and I love it!

After collars installed but before Springs. Too high for me and this is a .75" drop w/ collars!

Didnt want the tucked look.

Paragon springs and collars up front w/ shims added back in. I love it.

Yep that is what I am after! Did you purchase the shims from Paragon when you got the springs? Do you have Magride? How do the stiff strings effect magride. As is now the track setting on magride is quite rigid

I dont have MR, I have exactly what the OP has, Z51 and front lift. You need to ask Paragon about that one, its perfect for me w/out the MR, I like a fairly stiff suspension and it didnt change it much, just a little. I did get the collars, springs and shims all from Paragon.
