Default Frunk Light When Using Battery Tender?

Quick question. If I connect battery tender to 12v outlet in the frunk, close frunk to first click as to not pinch wire, will the interior frunk light shut off? Is there a better way?

It goes off eventually, no issues. The same thing as when you leave the trunk open for an extended period.

You can completely shut the lid, there's enough give in the seal to not cause an issue.

Default Is there a better way?

Is there a better way? Yes, crawl in there and shut the frunk. There is a release button.

I don't even put it to the first click. I just drop it down to the latch, and the light shuts off after a while. I've never timed it, but I would be surprised if it was more than 1/2 hour.

Even if you leave the frunk open all the way, the light goes out in about 10 minutes. On the rare occasions when mine sits long enough I hook it up to a float charger, I leave the hood open. Guarantees I won't forget to disconnect the charger.
