0-60 and Dragy
Air down to 26psi.
Do a HARD brake from 100mph to your launch spot.
Then pull both paddles and rev to 6000rpm and release the paddles. Burn out.
Then stop the car and do your launch.
The street tires will still be terrible compared to drag slicks but that is your best bet at getting a good lunch on the ps4s
I do my runs just as this car is every day, real world numbers. I am not looking for perfected runs.
My Porsche was done the same way when it ran the 2.59 0-60 and 1.61 60' on the way to the 1/8th.
During my 1/8th I actually had to go in to the center lane over the awareness bumps and then back in to my lane costing my time, still ran a 6.8@102.8
The C8 is fast, but on a typical day if you roll up next to some AWD car with serious power, know the limitations of rwd, expecially if you are a Z51 with summer tires and it is under 70 degrees.
The C8 running a 3.28 0-60 after a dismal traction limited 1.95 60' time is a testimonial to how fast the C8 is.
To make us all feel better, my 469hp AWD GLC63 AMG could only do a 0-60 in 3.8 and a 1.89 60' time on all-season radials. Once the C8 hooks, it books.
Not ideal as my tires when I left the house this morning were at 30lbs, but after work at 3pm in 60 degree weather were at 35lbs.
I had 3/4 tank of fuel.
Put car in track mode and hit tc off 2x and used launch control at 3500rpms.
The summer tires spun badly as evidenced by a 1.95 60' time
0-60 was 3.35 (1 foot rollout)
The Dragy was a valid run, but was at a 2 percent incline, not great for best times.
My other run was downhill at 1.2% and was invalid, it was a 3.32 0-60 and 1.94 60'.
I believe with 1/2 tank of fuel, tires at 30lbs and a warmer day, I could get 1.8 60' and 3.0-3.1 0-60.
My bone stock 2015 Porsche 911 Turbo S cabriolet did a 1.63 60' and a 2.73 0-60.
Mildly Modded it does a 1.61 60' and a 2.59 0-60 in worse conditions.
Here are the Dragy results from today:
