Default TPMS Questions

Has anyone had good results using Non-GM TPMS sensors?

Also are there any differences between the 2021 and 2022 sensors? I'm seeing conflicting information.

I'm selling my 2021 wheels and tires to someone with a 2022 and hoping there wont be any issues..

Thanks!

Just from many many years of experience, never use any other TPMS besides GM and the sensors are the same, I've had a 21 C8 and a 22 and have swapped wheels from both cars...
As far as the TPMS my buddy owns a very large volume tire shop here in Scottsdale and he said aftermarket are nothing but issues...

Thanks for responding. There seems to be a shortage of the factory tpms is why i considered the aftermarket. I did go to my local chevy dealer this afternoon and ordered 3 sensors and nuts, they had one in stock.. I called 8 other dealers, none avalible.
While at the dealer they checked the 21-22 part numbers, both the same.. they had three fresh 22's on the lot, used the vin from one of those to check.

I have 3 sets of wheels for my 2021 Z51. The OEM sensors are not expensive, and the reset tool is cheap too. VERY easy to re-learn each set of wheels. Don't be cheap.

Must be an optical illusion but sure looks close on a broomstick test
