Just wondering if anyone else is having issues with their android phones after the last Android update.
when someone calls me i cant see who on either the car or the phone. I just hear the phone ring. I then have to wait until they hang up and then go to recents to see who it is then call them back. Extremely frustrated
Yes, I wiped my phone and reloaded my stuff and it work great for 1 day and then returned to black screen. The phones new update is the issue, not your Vette. I don't get any notification on text/mail/ Etc like normal and when receiving incoming calls my screen is black. I found if I push the on/off button it will allow my screen to lite up and I swipe down and I can answer the call. Also my phone is a Samsung Galaxy A20, what models phones are yours?

I have a Google Pixel 5 and my wife has a Pixel 6 Pro; both of our phones are working as intended. We both are current on updates including the big June feature drop. Sounds like the issue is unfortunately caused by something in Samsung's recent update. I was never a huge Samsung fan and my wife finally gave up on them after experiencing too many issues with her Note20. Log the issue with them and hopefully they'll find a resolution and get it corrected for the next patch.
Here's the Fix: Go to settings, scroll down to apps and press on apps, Then go to top right corner you will see 3 dots and press them to get the window open. Next press the Reset App Preferences only. Wala, your phone will lite up light normal now when receiving calls and fix other issues from the update.
Update: It worked for a day and returned. Try this one as it currently working for me, go to settings and go to notifications. Click on more and you will see App notifications, then turn off all notifications except your necessary ones and you can always turn others back on. Then exit out and hit power button to have your phone go dark. Try and call phone and it should lite up. At lest mine did. It appears something in the other notifications is causing the issue phone notification which cannot be turned off. I have 26 app notifications including the phone, I shut off 23 notification and phone lights up on calls so far.
Good luck
I think it's in your Android Auto app on your phone. I'm having the same problems in a Ford Truck and my 2022 Chevy truck and it started when my apps updated.
Also saw on another site where a lot of Android users were upset about changes to the app.

Hmm, this is interesting, I lost my voice ability to make calls too but I thought it was because I terminated ONSTAR, which was around the same time. I will have to check about my car being trusted and what not. Incoming stuff stayed the same so it does sound like the phone is the issue and the screen lock the bad guy. Gonna play around some and see what I can tell.
