Default Radar detector grounding

Being a little Leary of the mirror wiring, I am using the front fuse box (behind glove compartment) for wiring my radar detector in my C8. Where is the nearest ground? It certainly isn’t obvious and all knowledgeable suggestions are appreciated. FYI, I have the glove box door off and the fuse box opened. Thanks!

While I understand your concern, several people to include myself had used the BlendMount mirror tap. There are several threads about this and if you follow the instructions you'll be good to go. I'm well over one (1) year of usage and no issues.

I have all the necessary wiring, etc. (and, know to use the black vs the gray wire) to do the mirror tap, but since I have everything ready for the fuse box wiring, I’d still like to know where to ground it.

Thanks! You have confirmed the location I guessed would be the most likely for grounding my RD install. I’ll route the rest of the wiring up the passenger A Pillar to the top/center of the windshield. I really appreciate the photos and your response.
