Tracking a Non-Z51

I took my car on the Carlisle auto cross track for a few rounds and didn’t know about the recommendation to add two quarts of trans fluid for a non z51. Did I hurt my transmission?

I doubt you put it in a situation where the extra 2 quarts was required. If you didn't throw any codes or notice any issues I wouldn't worry about it.

Autocrossing is not really the same thing as being on a racetrack. Sustained Gs are so much lower, speeds are lower, the time under load for the car is much less. The way I drive to the store sometimes is probably more taxing to the car. Yes, I am an idiot.

LOL. I was just having that conversation with a friend about street driving sometimes is more aggressive than autocross! Thanks for the response.
