I have a ‘23 HTC. It does not have the front lift assist. I bought lowering wrenches and intended to bring the front down just a little bit but I’m not exactly sure what I need to do. I expected to find one lowering collar …. but there are two. What’s the process? Your help & advice is appreciated. Thx!
After you Lower your C8 you will need Wheel Alignment because you will have Negative Camber. Alignment Machines Cannot Measure or Display Rear Caster. When Rear Camber is Adjusted Rear Caster will need to be Corrected. So find a shop that has Rear Caster Tools. Just like a C7.
Agreed on needing an alignment. I had a before & after lowering alignment performed to see what the difference was, and fully lowering the car took the spec outside of range.

I just had my z51 lowered 3/4 of an inch at the shops suggestion to increase negative camber. Track day this Saturday. Did the rear castor change when you lowered yours? I did not see that measurement on the sheet. They told me it would not change…
Big thank you,
Bill
