1/2 mile drag

Anybody run the 1/2 mile drags? What was your speed?

1/2 milw

I just ran NoFlyZonaARIZONA yesterday.
2021 Z51 LT3 stock.
Ran in track mode with trackson control on.
Standing start and went thru the 1/2 mile trap at 143.3121 mph.
The starting line had no trackson. Airport paint and small gravel.
There was a girl with a mototcycle that ran 190+.
We had 1/2 mile shut down area and you may think that is a lot, it is not at speed.

forgot to say the car went thru the trap in 5th gear at about 5900rpm. A lot left in the car.

Just did the no-fly in Cali.. 142, 5th gear needs more gear/hp.. a viper went 250, a bike 212.. 1800’ of run-out

If they optimized the first 7 speeds for maximum acceleration, non Z 51 redline at 205 MPH in 7th, instead of almost 270 mph. This car would be a rocket.
