Have LT3 Convertible with all options except sales forgot to check box for performance exhaust. Can buy used C8 performance exhaust taken off someones C8 for aftermarket. Question is= Screen only shows touring and Sport, no Stealth and Track options . When I plug in Valve controller will I be able to get additional choices thru update or refresh?

 

You couldn't retrofit NPP exhaust on the C7 (or, at least, without major effort) and no one on this forum so far has reported that they've done it on a C8. I don't think the harness is even there. And I doubt you would be able to convince the computer that it is there.

 

American Racing Headers has a complete exhaust which sounds great and adds HP. It will work without the computer hook up. Real Stainless Steel made in the USA.

For the Factory system you would have to fab a setup to operate the valves.

 

It may not be too late to fix your order.

 

With all options, but not the Z51? If not, then you won't have the software there to enable the NPP valves. Z51 comes with the NPP exhaust and programmed to operate it.
Can't retrofit either, well, you probably could, if you had enough money and the correct parts and a dealership that could figure out how to update the software to make it work.

 

I would assume that there would be no valves to activate.
