Well, I installed the ARH headers and exhaust on my Z51. Didn’t worry about all the people wining about 1.2 hp gains or losses. I went with the guys that run the fastest. Picked up 2 tenths and 2 mph and it instantly put me in the 10’s. Yep . ARH Thanks Snowblind and Nick at ARH . You both told me so and you were right. And no CEL !

Congratulations.....I told you also. Last Thursday night the air wasn't favorable for good ET. You just can't go by those stupid dyno numberd all the time. Great run my friend. I guess I will see you around March.

64365Coupe,
We really appreciate you choosing ARH headers and exhaust and going out there and putting them through their paces. It's what they were designed to do, and they do it well. There's more ET and MPH on the table. Good luck chipping away at it. It's the fun part.

No joke. I did a bunch of 0-60 and 1/8 mile runs with my Lexus to baseline it. Then we got the cold front, DA was -2400 over Christmas weekends. Got in some great 1/8" times that I haven't been able to replicate due to the warm weather. Racin' Gas in Pinellas Park has 110 on sale for $3.899

[QUOTE=bhvrdr;1606089945]What was the da for that run vs prior runs? Im curious because I trap 122mph in +1800 and 84f bone stock.
There has to be something particular getting people to 124mph then 126mph then 128mph and then negative 2000 da gets you the rest to 130+[/QUOTE
Those aforementioned numbers do not dictate bone stock at all if that's what you are referring to. They are bolt-ons with a few unknown tricks.....especially the 128 mph and 130 mph. On top of that.....who knows what a tune would do to these cars regarding additional performance.

Im referring to me going 122mph bone stock in 84f temps with no prep on street tires cutting terrible 1.90 60 foots
And then referring to folks who are running 130mph to 133mph with several bolt ons.
The dude running 130mph reported having cai, 100mm/tb, ported intake manifold, arh headers and exhaust and gutted cats.
So im wondering why we arent seeing at least just 124mph traps in that good air with arh headers and exhaust in better air than than i run 122mph stock. Id expect or hope to see better than stock trap speeds.
Not meaning to be critical at all but trying to find out what parts really are adding the power. And trap speeds tell us power output.

Well I suggest that that you make an effort to PM those guys. I have spoken to both of them.....one has headwork and one hasn't plus all of the bolt-ons. But there is a few tricks which they rather keep to themselves. Bradenton Motorsport drag strip is a very tricky track regarding track prep and horrible air at times. You just have to account everything that they have done to there cars. Carlos is running the ZR1 95mm stock throttle body according to him. And I believe it's a reason for that......going real big is not always better. There were 5 C8s at the track last month and one base model really stood out with a 11.00@122 with simple bolt-ons, no headers. And that was on the Michilen all season tires. I was three tenths behind him just to give you an idea.
Great numbers! Good 60ft, into the 6's in the 1/8, and 10.80's in the 1/4! I'm jealous, can't wait until test and tune starts back up. Did you rent the track again and where did you make this run?
