Default Check engine light P0171 & P0174

I had a shop install my Paragon Catback and AFE cold air kit, they did great job. A few days later right after I did a full on run to 80, the check engine light came on. I took it to dealer to check codes, he scanned it said they were busy and take it to the shop that did the install. He said he did not clear codes because he wanted the shop to see the engine light, That was Saturday morning. I took it home took the positive terminal off for 5 minutes hooked it back up and light was cleared. That was 100 miles ago and no check engine light. Should I be concerned?

Touring, and yes they installed the simulators. In V-4 mode sounds like ***. In V-8 mode it great. I drive around in manual mode so the V-4 mode.

Id imagine you got those codes because of the cold air intake, not the exhaust. Those are codes for air/fuel mixture. Too lean and too rich. I wouldnt be too concerned if its stayed cleared for awhile now. It was probably just adjusting to the new intake

These errors may occur due to the installation of the intake system. You should check the long-term fuel correction. If it is above zero within 2-5, this is normal. Above 13 you will see check engine. From 2 to 13 it is worth looking for a problem. And start with the dismantling and installation of a stock filter. You should not hope that it was a period of adaptation.

I replaced the airbox with AFE dry filter cold air kit. I dont have any way to check these.

This can be checked with the simplest OBD diagnostic device. Or in an auto repair shop. Or at the dealer

This is just a tip to make the motor work properly
