They are a fairly easy change. View the video and you'll have no problem, be careful with the supplied wire connectors. I severed one of mine so I soldered it all together, no problem. One thing I did notice was because of the Wide Angle Convex things will appear further away than they really are but do work well.

A bit of a pain to install. Mostly getting the top cover on and off. Be careful of the clips and make sure you are releasing them in the right direction.
The wiring is easy enough. Laid out well in instructions. If you have auto dimming driver mirror you will lose that function. That's why I ordered the tinted ones.
I have had them on the car a few months now and they are fantastic. Highly recommend.

Do these aftermarket bits retain the heating feature?

I think that is what the wiring is for. One of the posters above mentioned severing and soldering a wire….

Yes. Defrosting and blind zone alert remain. Plus turn signal indicators are added.

These are one of my all time favorite mods. And I have some wild cars lol. These mirrors are amazing. I love the wide view, the blinkers, and the tinted feature. I did break a tab on my driver side cap, I had to use some gorilla glue which hurt my heart, but only I and all the internet knows about that hahaha

I'm seriously considering the MBRP now ( thanks Jack Daniel's) . I had a system in my cart but didn't pull the trigger. I'm sure I saw a 10% discount email come up, but not seeing it now. I have a 5% off message now, but going to wait until I see the 10%. If that comes again soon before my buzz is gone and the wife comes home from Oregon, I'm buying. Going to keep the stock system just in case.
Party on Wayne.

Yeah I think it's pretty cool mod and I like mods more than most guys. But is it absolutely something you can't live without? No. C8's has great large side mirrors that have warning lighting built in to detect your blind spot.

Proper adjusting your side mirrors is 90% of the challenge. If you can see the sides of your car they are not adjusted correctly.. Side mirrors are for blind spots not for seeing directly behind you. Side mirrors need to be adjusted further away from the rear of your car, adjust them out words for picking up your blind spot. The rear view mirror is for seeing behind you, not side mirrors

I just had the Chrome Paragon ones installed by a Chevrolet dealer. 1.5 Hours labor at $212 per hour ( plus fees).
Took them twice to get the wires connected.. Then i discovered they broke a tab holding the top cover one. Now they are getting that replacement part painted and reinstalled.

i like the mirrors. I feel they are a worth while addition ( except or the extra 3 visits to the chev dealer) If i could change a thing I would have a little less tint in the mirrors. I have 45 % Xpel installed and they can get a bit dim in the shadows.

The wiring colors are not the same on all C8's , probably why dealer took 2 shots at it.

What's missing is the dimming feature.
