Anyone have experience with these codes I know they are Trans related I have an appointment next week at dealer hoping it’s not too serious seems to drive and run fine also been getting “ rear axel system off” with option to dismiss message that pops up randomly as I mentioned in my earlier post

From the service manual that I have:
"REAR AXLE OFF
This warning communicates a concern with the electronic limited slip differential. Check the TCM for DTCs.
In the manual I have, that code means:"P0868 Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor 3 = Less than a predefined threshold - For greater than 1> s"
It indicates a number of things that can cause the issue, but diagnostics are required to nail it down. Basically the procedure includes trying several things to see if it corrects the problem. If they do not, it calls for replacement of the transmission. I have come to realize that there could be other procedure in bulletins or a later version of the service manual, so this may not be a complete description.
I extracted the specific possible remedies from the much longer procedure as follows:
"A low oil level condition may set this DTC."
"An improperly seated fluid filter or leaks at the fluid filter seal can cause the DTC to set."
"Perform the following procedure/test: Line Pressure Hydraulic Control System Cleaning Procedure - 3> times"
"Perform the following procedure/test: Transmission Oil Filler or Drain Plug Replacement & Automatic Transmission Fluid Filter and Seal Replacement"
"Perform the following procedure/test: Automatic Transmission Fluid, Fluid Pan and/or Filter Replacement "
The DTC is cleared if it does not set after these procedures performed then
"If the DTC is not set- All OK"
It appears that if these procedures do not remedy the problem, then:
"Replace the component: T12 Automatic Transmission"
Thankyou Andy , hoping the tech can fix with the flush and filter change , I love the car but use it for road trips a lot and it needs to be reliable when I may be thousands of miles away from home .

I do not think that is a specific failure. Rather, it indicates a request from another module to turn on the light on the DIC. I think there is typically, and maybe always, another more specific DTC associated with it. Some DTC will not result in setting of the CEL on the DIC. They call it a Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) in the version of the service manual I have. It also describes it as being "emission related" . It is the same as the Check Engine Light. On page 86 of 2023 of the Owners Manual it is described as "Malfunction Indicator Lamp (Check Engine Light) and it also describes it as "emission related".
I just got the CEL. Codes P0700 and P0868 came up. After letting the car sit for a few hours I started it and the CEL was still on. A little later started it again and the CEL was out. Went around the block, no CEL.
Any thoughts? The car drover normal the whole time.

when u get CEL's contact OnStar to run a diagnostics check.
-That way u have a record if the car clears the code.
-Get the car into the dealer yo have it checked; this way it's now recorded on the dealers records for your car
Purchased a 2020 March 23 of '23 with 1365 miles. Car started out th roughing those codes. After a number of isdues dealer talked to GM tech center, car was in the dealers for 7 days, $3,300 in warranty charges and a Speed Sensor replaced.
very happy with the dealer and how my car is running. Just a bump inthd toad; C8 is a great card
Ok it’s been a while since I visited this post I ended up going though the trans flush then a valve body , that lasted about a week got the codes again and finally ended up with a new trans I have about 600 mi on the new trans so far so good 🤞
BTW i get these 2 codes all the time while autocrossing. Strangely never when tracking. i have identified the issue to most likely by launching without using launch control. I generally don't need to clear it, they always find a way to clear themselves before i get to the dealer
Page 79 on my owners manual says some of the warning lights come on briefly when the engine is started to indicate they are working my CEL is one of them

The OP provided his update in post 8 - he needed a new transmission. Post 2 list the possible remedies called for, depending on the outcome of the diagnostic procedures. There is no "one" solution. You have to do the diagnostics to find out the cause.

But payed by GM or? I have the issue now on a 2020 with 19.000 miles on it.

OP did not say what is mileage is - but his profile shows he had a 2022. And post 8, about the replacement transmission was July 2023 - so his would have been under warranty. But he did not say.
With a 2020, are you beyond the 5 year powertrain warranty?
And when you say the "same issue", do you mean the same code? The same code may or may not be the same issue - diagnosis is necessary to determine the cause. The code itself indicates that a transmission fluid pressure measurement is out of range.

My 2022 is at the dealer now with the P0868-00 code. They said it will take a week to even look at it. I sure hope I don't need a new transmission. I was planning on selling the car soon. I only have a little over 12,000 miles on it and it will be 4 years old on 10/27. Should be covered under warranty. I had the prescribed filter and flush done at 7,500 miles. I've had no issues until now. I noticed the car jerking a couple of times when pulling into my garage and yesterday, on my way to the dealer, while in gear, the engine revved to 4,000 RPMs and then went back to normal....scared the crap out of me...I'll post an update when this gets resolved.

Did you ever change the fluid? I think with the age and miles the fluid change would trump even the filter. Mine failed at 13K miles, my fluid looked awful and it was 2 years old. Now that being said I am extremely hard on my car. Moral of the story is I think more frequent fluid changes may be of benefit to warding off valve body clogging as I believe the filtration system can only handle so much debris.
