Default Lingenfelter Installed on C8

Hello Corvette People, interested in pros cons on anyone who had a Lingenfelter installed on a C8. Ready to put a deposit down, but have a few questions. How loud in the "whining noise?" Is it annoying? Satisfied with performance? Any mechanical problems? Your input is greatly appreciated!

I assume you're referring to their supercharger kit?

Jim B, I had the Lingenfelter C8 MagMunson Supercharger package, installed on my 2022 C8.R HTC this spring. This is the 2nd Lingenfelter Corvette performance package, the 1st is a 2017 C7 GSCE. I’ve been very happy & satisfied with the performance & workmanship of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. You can read on their website was is installed in the package. To answer some of your questions, the blower noise is not annoying at all, it gives the car a very distinct sound, along with increased speed and performance. I have had no mechanical issues or check engine light. Ken Lingenfelter & the crew at the Wixom facility do an excellent job. I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for C8 performance package that also comes with a 3 year warranty for their work. Happy to entertain other questions.

Can I ask you if you just did the kit or added some of the other upgrades they offer? That all adds up with the additional parts and labor.

They claim 700hp, but is that the kit alone or all the other parts (exhaust, intake, etc.)

Thanks.

Hello, they installed the Magnuson supercharger package, that alone is 700hp. I also had the Lingenfelter/Haltech cold air box & clear engine shield. I have the C8 HTC, so the manifold intake cannot be installed, only on coupes. The Magnuson package alone is sufficient & great performance results, the other add-ons are minor and personal preference,IMO.

Right on but were you able to test if it gave you increased power?
