I know the standard answer here is trade for a car with MSRC or live without it. That isn't an option for me, as have a twin turbo build underway and just got this car with everything else wanted for a great deal. I am looking at aftermarket options including what DSC may coming akin to their tractive kit. I though saw a post that someone here retrofitted MSRC to their C8. Does anyone know if the Z51 has all the sensors, and its a question of shocks and a controller? And would that be plug and play, or is there some funky Global B platform stuff that would stop the MSRC controller from working with a car with a non MSRC vin?
No. If you really want a different suspension I would look into a nice set of aftermarket coil overs or, as you said, get DSC’s tractive system if it works with the C8.
Could it be installed as far as parts go yes. As far as the programming from Techline Connect no they won't give you a rpo code to program it and make it work. Once more module cracking comes available it will be more achievable.
I saw and bumped his thread. I may go with the DSC standalone control and either OEM MSRC shocks (all available now) or their forthcoming high performance electronic shocks. First, I need to get my twin turbos in at the end of this month! Doing factory MSRC (from Madcat's thread) looks like ~$4K in parts and a lot of labor.
