Default C8 Z51 Brakes

Are there any aftermarket carbon fiber rotors that fit a C8 Z51. I know about the CB pads - I was thinking about a J57 setup like those on the C7 GS and ZO6.

Only ones I've ever seen for C8s. The rotors themselves are $9K, BBKs with everything are around $15K. Probably why you never see them. Also, I think you meant 'carbon ceramic' rotors. There is no such thing as carbon fiber brakes.

That’s so cool. I hadn’t seen that option for carbon ceramics for C8! Wow! Would love those. But I would probably do full AP Radi-Cal system first.

They shave a significant 49.72 pounds according to their site. So the car is lighter and the rear savings of 12.29 pounds per side would roughly translate to +10 additional whp. So there's that. But man, that is a lot of money.

There are carbon ceramic and carbon carbon rotors. Ceramics are expensive and carbon are twice as expensive and not for street use.

From Repairsmith.com:"Many car owners who use carbon ceramic brakes complain that they feel spongy, especially compared to traditional brakes. This usually happens when your carbon ceramic disc or rotor is cold, like in the winter or when you’re driving a car that has been resting for some hours. In general, carbon ceramic brakes are said to be unsuitable for cold conditions. That’s because CC brakes take longer to warm up than standard metallic or organic pads."
Unless the C8 is a committed track/race car, there is no point in mounting these brake systems.
