PRD - SD Card Size
Question: User's manual states use a Class10 SD Card 16 GB, is that the maximum compatible card size?

No, you can go much bigger. I have a 128GB in mine.

You can put a 256GB card in the car, but it must be formatted to FAT 32, you can get the formatting program on line for free.

This is the card I used. I did not need to perform any formatting before putting in the slot in the car.

If you are asking me (as the previous poster) I do not know. As I recall, with mine loaded it said something like "over 1000 hours" I think. I really never check it though.
