Well just took a closer look and see two black plastic motor looking modules fairly close to the exhaust tips. Saw them thru the mesh in the rear diffuser. I guess I do have NPP after all. Also when I'm at idle in park and change from tour to sport I hear a little difference and then from sport to track I absolutely do. Similar to my 1LE Camaro but not as loud. I also just scanned the QR code and one of the codes that popped up is NPP so there you have it. I've been educated because of this forum. Thank you again. BTW I don't have the window sticker. The dealer didn't have it. LAME.

thanks. I may just buy one, might as well right! I have carbon flash exterior package, high spoiler, NPP, gloss black wheels, R badge package, side sills and front splitter. Not a Z51 but a wannabe I guess.

I 100% have 4 modules. 2 on the inside and 2 very close to the tips themselves on the outside. When I go from tour to Z mode (i have mine set for max engine sound so 3 bars) it's noticeably louder and sounds a helluva lot better.

Sorry to hijack your thread a bit OP, also wondering about mod path options myself...

Any general concensus on head/cams/exhaust/tune "all engine" mod path vs forced induction?

I'm leaning towards head/cams/exhaust/tune option, but just wanted to get other people's thoughts. I'm very new to the Corvette scene.

Horsepower goals and or how fast you want the car to run info may help with what you get for realistic information.

Money will probably make the decision for me, as like most I assume, I have a threshold on how much I'd like to spend.

Durability/longevity is a priority as well, though I don't abuse or track my cars generally, or at least not regularly, Road America is nearby, would be nice to experience that track at some point.

I'm looking to add ~100 - 150 hp. So far I favor an "all engine" approach - ported head/cams/exhaust/tune. I come from forced induction cars though - Evo 8 & 10, RS3, GR Corolla. I'm used to relatively easy power with bolt on mods & tuning. I'd be in uncharted territory. Luckily I have a friend, a fellow enthusiast who is a Master Tech & Ford guy who has done all the work on my cars. Very happy to pay him & have the peace of mind that someone I know & trust is working on my car.

I have high flow cats (plus a few other mods) and absolutely love the sound. Really wakes up a stock exhaust for much less than a full exhaust cost and install.

I just bought the AFE Dry filter. Figured $120.00 and a modest gain was better than sending almost $1000 for a CAI with similar gain. Now considering AWE headers. They are 4-2-1 design and from videos I've watched definitely increase the exhaust sound with a stock stock. They are also a little cheaper than a catback and easier to install. From vid's on-line seems they pickup a solid 20whp and sounds great. Plus easier to install is nice. Anyone running them and have you had any CEL's after install?

Same question goes for high flow cats. Stainless works makes some for $1000.00 not sure they make much difference so I may opt to stay stock for the cats.
