Default Fabspeed exhaust- reuse AFM modules or simulators?

I am picking up a fabspeed valvetronic from another member. I have a 2022 with NPP and AFM. Question- for the AFM, the fabspeed has the bracket to remount the original AFM valves, but does not connect to anything on the exhaust but lets you plug the original modules into the car. I know there were issues with 2020 models, but for a 2022 can I reuse the AFM modules or do I need to plug in AFM simulators to avoid a CEL

Thx

Just me, I would use the simulators.

You will like the exhaust, great sound and still quiet in touring. The C8 has good interior sound deadening but you'll really hear it with the roof off

The vavletronic system currently on the Fabspeed site appears to include valve simulators, and the text recommends using them. I don't see where the current versions even show a place to remount the actuators. Oddly, they also recommend "placing the car in 8-cylinder mode to eliminate any possibility of a Check Engine Light". Anyway, I would use the simulators in place of the actuators for the missing AFM valves.
