Looking to see if anyone else experienced this issue on their 24 (or earlier for that matter) wireless charging on a iPhone 15 pro max (or previous max iphone). I slide it into its sleeve and it goes green for about 3-4 seconds then stops charging. I tried every possible scenario with it ( mid way, backwards, upside down) and all yield same result. One thing I noticed is the wireless pad is not flush to the slot. It seems to have a bubble effect behind it which I’m wondering if that is normal or do I need to have that fixed? I would think it would have to be flush and flat in order to line up the coils. Or am I just going usb c plug and call it a day?
Had the same issue with my 2022 Silverado (later updated version.) My I Phone 8 worked fine with the wireless charging system. I bought an I Phone14 and it does the same thing that you describe. So it may be an I phone issue????
Seem it’s the pad. If I adjust it juuuuuuuust right.. it holds. So I’m convinced it’s the pad not sitting flush and this phone doesn’t line up right.
will be taking it to dealer to see if a new pad can be installed. Was also confirming if anyone else’s c8 wireless pad is flush or has a slight bubble on it?
Did you ever figure this out? My z06 is doing the same thing with the new iPhone max.
so update was I took it to the dealer and tested it on a z06 they had there and it did same thing.
further testing is if you take it out of the case, and hold it about an inch from all the way in the socket and push it flush, it will hold and stay on.
this tells me that the coils don’t line up flush enough for the MagSafe to kick in.
im going to keep trying but it could just be that size phone with the type of charger. For now I just plugged in a usb c cable til I figure it out.
Hmmm interesting. Never suspected it was apple issue. Prob something as simple as a threshold or sensitivity setting on how much voltage it detects or pulse.
hoping they fix it but in meantime I’m on usb c. Thanks for the post!
I'm having issues wirelessly charging too. I'm using a Pixel 8 with a slim case. Slid it in without the case, and it still wasn't charging. I was headed somewhere, so I didn't thoroughly test it yet.
I have a 2023 C8 Stingray, and the only way mine works to charge my iPhone 12 mini is if I remove the cover from the phone. I have tried a couple different covers, and they all seem interfere with the charger and charging process. The other issue for me is that the charger is hard to reach when sitting in the driver’s seat, so I bought a short USB cable and just leave it plugged into the center console storage area.
