I am looking to put the factory road race alignment on my C8Z non-Z07 with CCBs. Their spec is -2.0* F&R camber. I have Cup2R tires mounted on the OEM rims that I will be running (very experienced driver). I will only do 2-3 road course days per year and 4-5K street miles.
I was wondering if anyone know how much impact on camber moving the upper A-arm body washers from the body side to the bolt head side makes and if it has a significant impact on toe-in. Ideally I would like to run track speck alignment with the washers on the bolt head side and then just move the washers to the body side of the upper A-arms (F&R) for my street driving.
They talk about the Stingray which needs -3 and -2.5 My Z06 only "needs" -2.0 F&R per Chevy. What I am looking for is is I move the washers and achieve the -2.0, when I move the washers back to the body side, what will be my camber? Would it be -1* which would be OK or would it be closer to -0.5* which I could tolerate on the street.I am also looking for what moving the washers does to the toe with no other changes.
