Default NPP question for Aftermarket exhaust

I ordered my 2024 HTC stingray with the stock exhaust, not the performance exhaust. My intent was to get the Corsa sport exhaust that I had on my previous C7. Corsa only makes the extreme for the C8 and I do not want that.

here’s my question. Since my C8 was delivered without the NPP valves, can I still get an aftermarket exhaust with NPP valves? My concern is that the normal electrical switching between tour mode and sport / track that would open the valves on an NPP system don’t exist on my car? Does anyone know the answer to this?
Thanks!

I have/had the same issue. Base car no NPP. The wiring isn't there so there will be no way to control it unless the exhaust supplier has it built into their system. I would think you'd want the AFM valves although they do make simulators if the exhaust didn't have them.

I did get an GM NPP someone took off their car and tried to hot wire it. Made some headway but gave up. Frankly, it's not that loud open all the time. I ran my C7 that way.

Awesome. Thanks for quick response. It’s as I figured. Was looking at the Hooker BlackHeart NPP exhaust, but figured the valves wouldn’t work.
Therefore, I’m leaning on purchasing the Paragon Touring exhaust.
Thanks again

For what it's worth. If you get an NPP aftermarket exhaust and you don't' have NPP on the car, the valves will just stay open.

I have the Paragon touring exhaust and it is awesome! I get compliments on the sound frequently. Sounds sooo much better than factory and the gloss carbon tips are gorgeous. I highly recommend.

That’s the setup I am leaning towards. The Paragon Touring exhaust. Also with the gloss carbon. Any drone issues during the V4 cruise?
