C8 module programming
Hey fellas,
I've been searching for several weeks on google and have read up quite a bit on this forum from searches, but I have a couple questions if you guys don't mind. I bought a 2020 C8 wrecked and have the entire car rebuilt. I'm down to programming of the modules. I have a new break module, had to install a new steering wheel airbag (airbag light on) and had to replace the rack and pinion (replaced with a used unit) I have several scanners around the shop, even a pretty expensive one I use on other vehicles, however it will not "talk" to the C8 ECU. I'm finding that it takes GM's new MDI2.
After several searches online, I've found a couple different things. One is a China Clone MDI2 and the other (which I've yet to confirm works on something this new) is a VCX Nano
Do any of you have any experience with either of these? do they actually work?
The other option is dealer which if it were new under warranty of course I'd use that option but not the case here, and I may need something for later issues as they arise in the future.
