Looking to upgrade to e 85. Live in seattle area. I see there’s a shop called underground tuning that’s provides a canned e 85 tune. Anyone have any experience with these guys or recommendations on where to have this done?
Copy that. $2700 seems reasonable from underground tuning. Still waiting to talk to them.
thanks.
I stay quiet about other tuners when being named, but I think it would be absolutely foolish to use a place that does nothing but promote stupid pop bang tunes on mopars, flame tunes, etc. The numbers they posted on E85 over 93 is absolute BS. On 91 it's 30 wheel max going E85. Most are 25-7.
Global B tuning is not something you just let anyone with an MPVI3 tune these.
I hear you.. found a link to e85 tune for $2700. Not sure if there’s any items I’ll need to purchase to make it work. Not to many shops up here w c8 tuning experience. Or c8 FI kit installs.
They want $19,000 for a 40 hp gain. Omg that’s insane. $39,000 for TT. LMR is cheaper than these guys. I’m pretty sure I’ll come close to those gains with a simple Halltech CAI, and a cat back system. $2100 in parts, $900 in labor. Will post dyno after Tuesday when my mods are installed. There’s a e85 tune advertised online for $2700. I’m still researching that one. If it’s for real there’s another 30-40 rwhp. We shall see. My goal is to run in the 10’s. That’s good enough for me for now. My hellcat running 10.6 with pulley, tune, CAI, injectors, and headers all for about $8000
just seems like c8 owners getting gouged.. imho

They offer just the Flex Tune, you just have to ask.
10's should be doable with wheels/tires.
I’ll give them a call on Monday. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. The DR’s I just purchased hooked on my hellcat with 760 rwhp. I’m sure they’ll hook with mods on my new c8. Will post . Thanks again🍻
going to check these guys out as well

I read that E85 should yield around 60whp. I’ve used it extensively on the LT4 platform. The flex fuel setup is one of the easiest mods to install. The problem with the C8 is that the ECM has to been sent off and “unlocked”. That’s where the expense comes from (that plus it’s limited availability).
OH OKAY.....I ran Hoosiers 315/30/18. First run 10.99@124 1.67 60ft, second run 10.95@123.64 1.610 60 ft. I borrowed the wheels from a friend. I actually needed more seat time with those tires .....thought it could have done a tad better with the 60ft. Mods were Halltech Intake, ported throttle body, ported intake manifold and E85 mix......no tune no headers. So I figure that E85 tune should do much better in the 1/4 mile. Just to give you an idea.

those are solid runs.Good job! So you ran e85 with no tune. Is that safe? Do you know your rwhp after mods?

Don't do if you have doubt. You definitely don't want to leave that in your tank after track. Just fill it back up with 93. No dynos numbers. Going to track is much cheaper for me. And if I had to guess.... around 20rwhp. Total cost was $1300 and I did install myself. Bonestock I went 11.29@121. Also the mixture is not even close to the E85 percentage.....maybe between E20 and E30.
