Just wanted to share my install of the Soler throttle controller. I located it in the arm rest console.
After removing the gas pedal and attaching the throttle controller. You can tuck all the wires underneath the carpet via hole/slot from factory.
Just unsnap trim along center console to feed wire to console.
Drill a 3/8" hole for usb-c end to fit through.
I unhooked battery instead of waiting for 10 minutes like instructions suggested.
All and all took around 20 minutes.
Hope this helps anyone who like me, didn't want to locate the controller in plain sight.
Cheers

Why do people make things a whole lot more difficult than they need to be?
A lot of extra work and drilling for nothing....it's much easier to wait a whole 10 minutes and not drill any holes. Attach the display head unit long enough to get your phone connected via Bluetooth and then put it in a drawer someplace.

You actually don't even need to have it connected at all, you can pair directly with the app via Bluetooth. I've installed them on three C8s and have never even touched the control panel.

Harder how?
20 minutes tops.
Some people might not want to use the phone and NOT see the controller.
If this does not apply to you then Great. Move on!
So has anyone added their ported TB along with the controller? I fully understand how the controller remaps the throttle signal between the pedal and the TB. I see what they claim with the TB and what they’ve done with it larger, helical, knife edged blade etc etc. but any real feel for the $ invested.

I have both. I installed the ported TB nearly 3 years ago already, and had one on my C7 too. I installed the controller more recently...less than a year ago.

One is a true performance mod while the other is a neat toy to play around with. The controller is worth having to dial in the throttle sensitivity to your personal preference, but from a purely performance perspective, the ported TB is what gives you actual gains. If buying just one and it's either/or, get the ported TB.
Controller is a 20 minute install while the throttle body is more like 2 hours.

ok so you noticed a actual difference from the TB on its own? I had a throttle controller on my camaro and ATS-V. I liked it because using the cars as daily’s it allows me to kill the throttle in the rain etc. yes you can change the modes etc in the car but being able to individually change throttle response is great. The wife’s ATS-V was 650ish HP I could set it to ECO throttle for her and sport+ or whatever for me and dial it up overtime for her as she got used to it. I think I’ll get both from Soler then

I installed the ported TB along with a ported intake manifold at the same time, but yes, it was noticeable. Similar results as I experienced on my C7 too.
How do you complete this install without the display head unit? Isn't that what you connect your phone to via bluetooth? I just received my controller and thought you had to use the head unit.

The box has a sticker with a 4-digit code; this is what you use to initially pair the phone app. It also gives you the option to scan the barcode.
