I have been reading (on another forum) about a seemingly large number of 2020-2024 C8 experiencing transmission failures at very low mileage numbers. Is that from abuse (Corvette drivers seem to like to push their cars to the limit) or faulty factory assembly? I have 900 miles on my 2024 and my DCT is shifting/downshifting very smoothly. I am not even missing a drop if engine oil. I have followed the guidelines for the break-in as closely as I have been able to.
So what is going on with the DCT ? Is it a matter of concern ?

Most Corvette owners are no where near pushing the limits on their cars. Not possible on the street. On track, yes.

did this other forum happen to quantify any of these failures? If not, it is pure internet speculation.
I come from the GT350 crowd. It was a GURANTEE that your car was going to burn 389 quarts of oil before your next oil change at all times and the ringlands were 100% going to crack. 8 years later my car was barely chewing up a quart per oil change. And I was not exactly nice to that car. You have a warranty. Enjoy the car. The nail that sticks out gets hammered. Don't let unnecessary noise keep you up at night.

My gt350 never consumed oil but I did spin a rod bearing on the track. Ford gave me a new gen 2 long block. It never had issues after that.
Conversely my 997TT had all of the coolant issues it could have and the cam sleeve was starting to spin a tiny bit.
