Default Borla Atak Size

Anyone know if the Borla Atak fits within the same ‘envelope’ as the stock muffler? I’d like to get one, but I already have, and use the P1 trailer hitch, so whatever I get has to coexist with that.

The oem exhaust is more bulky than the Borla. The Corsa takes up a little less room since you are not dealing with the heat shields btw. Happy to go over black friday deals on either option.

Appreciate the reply! Both Borla and Corsa definitely appear less bulky, but I’m still not sure if any portion of the pipes or mufflers extend beyond the space taken up by the OEM setup. The hitch wraps closely around the OEM muffler.

Do you have a photo of where the hitch mounts when the bumper is removed? I have the bumper off my C8 now 😬

unfortunately I didn't take pictures when I installed. Here is a picture of the hitch itself. Bolts to the rear muffler mounts and sits under the crash structure there. The lower mount hugs the muffler and attaches to the transmission crossmember. I also found couple pictures of what looks like the early prototyping. Still looks the same to me.

It looks to me like you'll be fine. The hitch mounts on the green tape area looks like?

On the metal tube just below the green tape. See the picture just above the green tape picture.

If anyone finds this thread in the future, the Borla S fits fine with the hitch.
