Front Lift Woes
Bugger! my brand new (stored for a year) 2023 70th C8 with only 438 klm's has fallen ill to the dreaded front lift not working. Reading forums it seems multiple owners of the 2023 year car have had exactly the same issue. They all state they get put through the testing for faults rigmarole to eventually end up with the same solution. GM has to supply a new Hydraulic Power Pack Module which fixes the problem. Pretty obvious there was a bad batch of these modules fitted to the 2023 cars. And of course it takes forever to source the new part. Not bad for car that costs over a quarter million dollars in Australia. All owners report the unit failed within a few hundred miles or in my case Klm's. What I will mind the most is the almost guaranteed buggering about by the dealer to correctly identify the problem " Gosh we have never come across this problem before sir, honest. GM insist we test everything else before we finally admit what we already knew". Try reading the forums then.
