Ridiculous that you can no longer buy the service manual outright- big corps. like GM continue to milk customers by repalcing the ability to purchase with price-gouged subscriptions.
"You will own nothing and you will be happy".
Eventually I hope enough of us PDF the service manual pages and start a drive to share them

I've been storing the pages I've been looking at, suspension, cooling and brakes. The download portion is painfully slow though.

Hmm, agree with Google Maps BUT you can buy the Service Manuals same as I bought the four Volume set for my 2104 C7 (81/2 X 11 ~ 2inch thick each) from Helms. Been that way for may years.
See Pic below: Helms prints for most automotive companies. As seen in Pic, not cheap.
"Helm was founded in 1943 as a commercial trade bindery in Detroit, Michigan. The company is based in Plymouth, Michigan. Helm's clients include automotive OEMs, franchised dealerships, and Fortune 500 companies."
GM's not in the book binding business why not let someone who is sell them? Like my 2014 C7 Manuals, they don't make one for every year. Probably not enough demand. Not the "Old Days" where dealer's and repair shops bought them. They all use digital.
