Elp dealer has a 2023 z51 in stock about 2000 miles 1 owner. Transmission fluid flushed and changed about 1500 miles per car fax. Seems likely prev owner got rid of a problem Dealer solution was this and maybe who knows what else. Asking for records.

What is the exact carfax wording for the service you mentioned? Its not clear what a "fluid flush and change" means. When the fluid is changed, and there is normally no need to do so until three years or 45000 miles, it is a simple drain and fill. There is no such thing as a "flush" associated with a drain and fill procedure. A transmission fluid flush should not be attempted per the attached clip from a tech link article. There is "hydraulic system flush" that is performed as step 1 of the replacement procedure for the DCT external canister filter. But the HSF does not involve draining and filling and it is not part of the fluid replacement procedure. It makes me wonder exactly what the dealer wrote into the carfax service record. There have been forum posts of dealers trying to sell the customer a BGE transmission flush - but the fact is that cannot and should not be attempted on the C8. There are no external lines that could be used, unlike some other automatic transmission.
I will note that if there was a transmission issue at 1500 miles, the diagnostic procedures do call for various attempts to correct the problem. So, a Hydraulic System Flush may have been performed in an attempt to fix a problem. If that does not fix it, some procedures continue, and then call for a fluid replacement. If that does not work, some procedures then move on to removing the pan and replacing the internal filter. My point is that both a Hydraulic System Flush and a drain and fill may have been done as part of a diagnostic procedure to correct a DTC, but would not be part of a routine procedure unless an owner requested both a DCT external canister filter change and a transmission fluid change at 1500 miles. Some owners do that.
