Default NA Build C8

Hi, I'm going to keep this short and simple.

I want to build my C8's engine while keeping it NA, reliable, and making really good HP gains. What mods have you guys done and suggest?

Sorry for my lack of knowledge, I am a bit unfamiliar with those. Could you please give me a few examples?

BTR sells a complete cam swap package for the C8. Send your heads out to be ported and call it a day.

if you want more reach out to someone like LME for a big cube build.

Thinking you want your C8 mostly for street and some for track. You didn't say, so going to assume this is the case. Sure you know that much needed Mods will produce the best wheel HP from a Cam and LME Milled Ported Heads package. Would go ONLY with a "Experience Highly Rated GM Tuner". There are a few other items an experienced builder/tuner would include.

Here are recommended mods for a NA build.
Halltech Hornet Cold Air Intake
Soler LT5 95mm Ported Plus Throttle Body
Performance Design pTR Carbon Intake Manifold
1 7/8" Cerakote Ceramic Coated Headers to 3"
HJS 200 Cell Cats
3.0 Corsa NPP or Extreme Exhaust
Oil Catch Can
Before and After E85 C&C PCM Dyno Tune

If you want turnkey, Lingenfelter has a 427 build for the C8/LT2. $29,950 installed with a 2-year warranty and 700HP (on engine dyno, 577RWHP on a dynojet).

Alternatively, you could trade your low mileage Stingray on a used C8 Z06 for about that much difference in $. You'd also have warranty, the widebody and better resale than a modified Stingray. Spending $30,000 on a 427 would be like setting fire to a pile of money. Not hating on it and it certainly has all the old school muscle car vibes for the older guys that are likely to keep the car for a decade in a garage full of toys. The C8 has attracted a lot of younger buyers who won't keep the car for more than a few years. Just consider your use case carefully before spending a bunch of money modifying it. The C8 is awesome for what it is and not a very good platform for going fast (in the sense of what most guys are after when they say they want 600, 700hp). The cars are held back massively by the gearing. You'll never overcome that with any kind of NA build.

OP's Stingray is a 2022, I'm not sure he's going to be able to trade up from a 22 Stingray to an equivalent spec used 23 Z06 for only $30K difference, plus he'll loose any money already spent (taxes, registration, PPF, ceramic, mods, etc).
Gearing really only starts becoming a big issue in 5th and beyond, and a significant HP increase will help mitigate that. Even better will be if they ever get TCM tuning released and you can raise the rev limit (especially on something like a 427) to 7000-7200RPM or so.

I just checked and I found several z06's with less miles than my c8SR being sold for 30-35k more than I paid. I think people don't realize how much the prices are softening. Although with the way the economy is going... Who knows wtf is going to happen to prices especially when the cost to borrow continues to increase. I expect the prices to come down but with the market uncertainty... I certainly don't want to make financial recommendations lol

Here is a fast list of various C8 Models. There is a modified section for the C8 Coupe. In the notes columns you can see modifications for many of the cars that have been modified: See page 7 of the list: http://zinnware.com/docs/C8-Quarter-...omparisons.pdf
There is a similar thread from Old Goat for recommendations for his next mod: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-next-mod.html
