Default Larger Tires for tracking ???

Hi everybody. I was wondering if someone could assist me. I’m looking to go with 265 fronts and 315 rears vs stock. I do NOT want spacers because from my understanding it would compromised the car. I track my car about three times per year and I just wanna make sure that if I went with larger front and rears on the original OEM rims would it still be safe. I’m asking this question because for the most obvious when going into a corner and I’m putting too much load on either the left or right side of the car I wanna make sure that I wouldn’t have any problems. Has anyone gone with these specifications? If i track their car would I have any issues ?? I value any input that you could reply.

2022 C8 convertible Z 51 package

Thank you…
Steve

All tires come with recommended wheel width range. If you're within that range (or very close to it), you should be perfectly safe.

X25 - thanks for the quick reply. So you’re saying, you feel confident that I would not be compromising the drivability of the car !

Yes, as long as you stay within the recommended wheel range of the tire you're interested in. That said, to get most track performance benefit, we should try to stretch tires as much as possible.
